How it works
- 1. Drop a model - Add a GLB, glTF, OBJ or STL file - it is parsed locally, never uploaded.
- 2. Inspect it - Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, right-drag to pan. Toggle wireframe or auto-rotate, adjust light and background.
- 3. Reset anytime - Press Reset view to return to the fitted camera position.
Private by design
Everything runs locally in your browser via WebGL. Your models are never uploaded to any server - you can even go offline after the page loads.
How 3D viewing works here
Drop a GLB, glTF, OBJ or STL file onto the page. The model is parsed in your browser with Three.js and centered in a minimal 3D space with soft studio lighting. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, right-drag to pan. Wireframe shows the raw mesh, auto-rotate spins the model, and the light and background controls tune the scene. Nothing is uploaded - the file never leaves your device.
Format limits in the first version
- Compressed GLBs (Draco, meshopt, KTX2 textures) are not supported yet - uncompressed exports load fine.
- glTF files with external buffers or textures are not supported yet - use a self-contained GLB instead.
- Animations play as a static frame; OBJ files load without MTL materials.
